When a monster is summoned by call of the haunted it is equipped to call of the haunted until the monster is destroyed or until call of the haunted is destroyed. What this means is; if the monster equipped to call of the haunted is not destroyed it will stay on the field. This means that if you tributed, banished, returned from the field to the hand/deck/extra deck, used as a syncro material, or used as a xyz material, call of the haunted will remain on the field until it is destroyed by a card effect. The reason it stays on the field is because the card doesn't state that the monster has to remain on the field or the card will be destroyed, only that if either the monster or the trap has to be destroyed for the trap to go away. Also, if Jinzo is summoned by call of the haunted; jinzo will not be destroyed because he negates it's effect. If you activate call of the haunted and someone uses mystical space typhoon to chain then your monster will not be summoned.
