The talks for a new head admin have begun. I wanted to make a post on what I plan to change if I get the position.

What I hope to change is the not the foundation of the academy but the workings. The current system has an excess of staff and that is a weakness. Staff meetings are inefficient and difficult to time. Why wait for 12 people who waste time when you can have 4 people get things done efficiently? Complains of worthless moderators and lazy admin have also be talked about. There is also the problem with role plays, member activity and tournaments/wars.
I plan to address all of these problems.

Firstly the staff. I have seen many staff members swapped in and out in my tie here. I have see who works and who does not. If the members of the staff does not support or help the academy, then why keep them? In reality, if you do not work you are fired. Alternatively, why keep a staff member who is corrupt? If they abuse power and simple attack other members for no reason they should be removed. My plan will remove the inactive and corrupt staff and replace them with the people who have shown dedication to the academy.

The creation of the clans was an idea I presented to academy when I first came here. The idea was left out of favor due to lack of members. My proposal would give three-four members, the leadership of a clan. They would be responsible to help their members grow and develop. The main reasons for member loss is no events or a sense of no belonging. This system will give them that sense. Once enough time pasts each clan can fight another clan. Titles, trophies and  points, along with other prizes will give the clan members a reason for victory. This will fix the war problem. Why war another academy that will hide or run away when you can war the student of this academy? There can be individual clan events and group sessions to help newer members along. This will solve tournaments. As well as the academy wide tournaments there will be clan tournaments. This will keep members active and they will have plenty of time to train for the larger events. This system will not abolish the old rank system as it will still be used to determine their strengths and weaknesses.

As for the role plays, I will either take charge of it myself or assign a central role play master. In an rp, the game master must keep the audience engaged with all the plots and twists.

I'd be happy to support you in any way with this. It sounds like a solid plan, though I am unsure how you tend to make this Team thing work.

I like the idea behind it, but I'm not sure how this is supposed to be put into action. So, I would appreciate more elaboration to that topic.

I will elaborate on the clan idea. There will be three to four leaders of three-four separate clans. All current members will be placed in each clan and members join they will be allocated to clans after their tests. Each clan leader will be in charge of his clan. Staff however are not allowed to join clans. Teachers will still be school wide as well as Moderators and Admins. The clan leader can take this a step further. It will be up to them to help the weaker member grown to a higher level. This does not mean teachers and staff can not help. This systems will free up staff members to help more people. with clan members and leader helping others in the clan the staff can concentrate on staff jobs or helping other students.

i think staff should be allowed in clans, since it doesn't take too much work to staff, also clan leaders should be decided by skill and not just give someone a leadership position, because you like them.

I feel that there should only be staff in a clan for an Event or Special Tournament. Cause this is mainly for the students to learn and train to become better duelist and to help the Overworked Staff.

You are correct one one of your two points. Staff members do not have a lot to do. I plan to address that problem thoroughly. The staff will be busier, and will have less time. That being said if the staff want to join and they actively finish their assigned tasks I will have no problem with them joining. To you other point. I completely agree with you, a leader leads by skill. I can only wonder why you would think I would do otherwise.

Ok, so the part where the Clan Leaders are chosen upon skill level is obvious. But, this with Staff. I don't see why Staff should be prevented from joining.

Overworked staff, yes. It's a common thing. But if a Staff member cannot handle more then one things, then it is up to them to decide which they take. Not everyone is cut out to be able to do multiple things, but some are, and you shouldn't take their chance to help on multiple fronts away.
